Braidwood Results – 3.26.11

Tournament Overview

Braidwood: Saturday March 26^th

Temp: 30 Degree’s (Colder then Polar bear balls sitting on the ice)

Wind: 15 to 20

Sky : Mostly cloudy with a spot of sun. Very Foggy at take off.

Water temp: 61 Degree’s on the cooling side    (Intake Side).

70 / 73 Degree’s on the Hot side  ( Discharge side).

Water color: Tannic in color, stained.

We took off at 7am and fished till 2pm, not many boats out on the Water so spots where available. Ramp and pier in good shape with plenty of parking.  The tournament was on By Ed Trevino We like to call him Lee.

1^st place: 12.03lbs

Ed (Lee)Trevino:

• I used a 1/2 ounce war eagle spinnerbait in a shimmer green color.
• I used a slow retrieve and stopped it and let it fall.
• I also used 30lb power pro braided line.
• Fished in about 5ft of water with fast current.
• I Fished the shore line with the rocks.
• Fish seemed to be positioned where there was an opening.
• In other words anywhere  there where no cattails just rock.

2^nd Place: 10.12 lbs
